About us

Geo Hospitals is a well-established network of medical facilities throughout Georgia, operating in Tbilisi and 5 regions (Kakheti, Kvemo Kartli, Mtskheta-Mtianeti, Samtskhe-Javakheti, Imereti).

The network includes 25 medical facilities with various resources, including 15 inpatient facilities.

Geo Hospitals is one of the largest healthcare staff employers in the country. Currently, the network employs around 4,000 people, including 1,300 nurses.

In December 2019, Georgian Hospitals Group became 100% owner of GEO Hospitals. According to the strategic development plan of the new management, Georgian Hospitals Group has made major investments in Geo Hospitals’ medical facilities. The infrastructure of Geo Hospitals was renovated and the clinics were upgraded and equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

Thanks to the extensive reforms carried out by the management team, the availability of various health services have increased and the quality of services in the regional hospital network has improved, which had been the biggest challenge for the company for many years.

According to the decision of the management team, a training center was created at Geo Hospitals in 2020 for the development of healthcare human resources, providing postgraduate education and continuous professional development programs for physicians.

Starting in 2022, Geo Hospitals, in partnership with USAID, launched regional nurse training centers, which will introduce postgraduate/specialized and continuing nursing education programs; the project will also train nurse trainers for the training centers.

In 2022, new management launched a large-scale hospital center in Tbilisi, operating under the ‘Geo Hospitals’ brand and integrating several leading departments.
